One of the reasons I practice yoga is to create space from my thoughts. Our thoughts often prevent us from finding true rest, and give inaccurate meaning to what would otherwise be objective events. Finding a respite from your thoughts allow you to notice what is actually happening in the present moment just as it is, and that is what I hope this event will provide you the opportunity to do.There will be some gentle movement in this class, but the ideal preparation would include attending the 4 p.m. yoga class and staying for the meditation.
